Dr. Dana Klein, C Psych.

Dr. Klein is a registered Doctoral-level psychologist. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She completed her graduate training at the University of Western Ontario and has worked in multiple settings across the London area, including the Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI), London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC), and Regional Mental Health Care - London (RMHC). She completed her psychology residency at the London Health Sciences Centre as well as St. Joseph’s Health Care, London.

Dr. Klein has worked as a psychologist in private practice since 2009. She is trained to provide assessment and individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She typically utilizes therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy to help clients meet their goals. In order to ensure that the treatments provided to clients are based on the most current research findings and approaches to intervention, Dr. Klein is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA), and the London Regional Psychological Association (LRPA), and also attends conferences and workshops on a regular basis.

Dr. Marcus Juodis, C Psych.

Dr. Marcus Juodis is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. He completed his Ph.D. at Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia) and his Predoctoral Internship through River Valley Health (Fredericton, New Brunswick). He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario (Western University) where he is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education. 

Marcus has had the pleasure of working with a number of great people and organizations before working at Oxford Psychological Services. For the past four years, he has worked in private practice providing psychological services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. This work included assessment, treatment, and consultative services through the practice of Dr. Dana Klein in Woodstock, ON and at Archways Centre for CBT in London, ON. Prior to this, and following graduation, he was fortunate to have obtained a position at the London Family Court Clinic providing these services for children, adolescents, adults, and families involved in the justice system. 

During his internship, Marcus provided psychological services for inpatients and outpatients in diverse settings. These settings included a regional hospital, an Operational Stress Injury Clinic, and a hospital located in a rural community. During his training, he also provided services in community mental health, military, university, and forensic psychiatric hospital settings. 

Through these experiences, Marcus has developed solid skills in person-centred and evidence-based approaches for helping clients with drawing on their strengths to solve problems, manage challenges, and cope with stressful life events. He feels fortunate to be working at Oxford Psychological Services on a part-time basis. He is here to provide support to you and those you care about.

Stacey Smith, MA, RP

Stacey Smith is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario and recently completed training in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD and Trauma. She has been serving Oxford County and surrounding area for over 10 years.

Stacey completed her undergraduate degree at Western University with a specialization in Social Justice and Peace studies. She is a graduate of Georgian College for the post-graduate program of Addictions: Treatment and Prevention. In 2018, Stacey completed her Master of Arts in Psychology and Addictions Studies.   Stacey has also completed CBT training for Trauma through the Becks institute.

Throughout Stacey’s time as a practitioner, she has supported clients with a range of issues including assisting first responders, addictions, trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, and more.

Stacey provides psychotherapy and counselling to adolescents and adults. She has extensive training and professional development to ensure best practice guidelines are met and up to date.

Joanne Humphrey,

BFA, Dip AT, RP

Joanne Humphrey is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She has over twenty years of experience in various sectors including interpersonal violence, criminal justice, addiction, and mental health.  She is also a Professional Art Therapist and the past Vice President of the Ontario Art Therapy Association. Joanne holds certificates and additional training in multiple areas, including motivational interviewing, reality therapy and crisis intervention and prevention.  

International experience includes volunteering at the West Africa AIDS Foundation in Accra, Ghana and training multidisciplinary teams for Drug Treatment Courts in Barbados and Jamaica.   

Trainings, workshops, and conferences continue to be professionally fulfilling as Joanne has always strived for excellence in her chosen field. She uses motivational interviewing and CBT techniques as well as art therapy as appropriate. Joanne is passionate in her belief that everyone has strengths and the capacity for change.

Danielle Revington, BSW, RSW

Danielle Revington is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. For the past decade Danielle Revington has supported men, women, and their children to manage and overcome depressive symptoms, anxiety, addiction, stress management issues, and a variety of other life challenges. Danielle obtained a Bachelor of Social Work (honours) from Kings University College at Western University. She also holds certificates and additional training in multiple areas, including trauma treatment and crisis intervention. 

Danielle comes to the table with a kind heart and a focused mind. She is compassionate and honest with all of her clients. Danielle’s counselling style incorporates Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused approaches. 

In addition to individual counselling supports, Danielle also has experience facilitating various types of groups counselling programs. Danielle presently facilitates a “Mothering your Mind” group about mental health and wellness for mothers that she personally developed and created to support the emotional, physical, and spiritual changes a mother goes through during the pregnancy and post-natal phases of life. 

Danielle is currently studying to become a certified yoga instructor and looks forward to incorporating this into her practice. She believes in the power of mindfulness, grounding, and yoga as tools for good mental health and wellness. Through counselling and meaningful support, personal barriers, life struggles, and hardships can be overcome. Danielle’s goal is to offer individuals an opportunity to achieve their life’s greatest purpose.

Etti Daskal, Dipl.-Psych, C. Psychological Associate

Etti Daskal completed her Diplom-Psychologie (equivalent to a Master of Arts degree) in Clinical and Health psychology at the Johannes-Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany. She is currently in supervised practice as she works to become a registered Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. 

Etti has accumulated experience working in clinical settings treating various disorders and problems such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, and life crises. She has experience in private practice and hospital settings. Etti has also worked in diverse school environments and with clients of diverse cultural backgrounds. Her main approaches to psychotherapy are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Psychodynamic psychotherapy.

Ettie is fluent in three different languages, including English, German and Hebrew. She is currently working under the supervision of Dr. Dana Klein.

Tanya Ramackers BA, BSW, MSW, RSW

Tanya completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilfred Laurier University and went on to pursue a post-graduate degree in Social Work at the University of Waterloo in 2016, where she became a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. After graduation, Tanya worked in a number of diverse settings, including community-based addictions counselling, domestic violence and supporting women and children survivors of sexual violence. In 2019 Tanya returned to school to complete her Masters of Social Work at the University of Waterloo, with a special interest in Trauma and Health. 

Tanya understands that life can feel too intense sometimes and that our minds and bodies can feel as though they are no longer connected. Psychotherapy can be a powerful way to work through those intense sensations or numbing moments when we can’t see a way forward- when we feel stuck, lost, alone or disconnected. Tanya takes a holistic approach to mental health and gracefully hold space between providing non-judgmental support and practical skills to help you overcome such issues as trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD and stress. 

Tanya has completed trainings in Cognitive Process Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) (candidate), Trauma Centre Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Birth and Reproductive Trauma and CBT and holds particular interest in somatic-based psychotherapy. She draws from her own experiences to help you through life’s often unpredictable challenges. 

Kristina Di Gaetano, MA, RP

Kristina Di Gaetano is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Kristina has worked in the mental health field for over 5 years and has supported adolescents and adults in coping with a range of issues including addiction, anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict, stress, self-esteem, and more. Kristina obtained a Bachelor of Arts (honours) in Criminology from York University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions from Georgian College. Kristina has also completed her Masters in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. 

Kristina regularly attends training and workshop opportunities to enhance professional development and to ensure practice standards are met. Kristina utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Strength-Based, and more. Kristina strongly believes that every individual is the expert of their story and is committed to providing a warm, supportive, and collaborative space to safely explore both their concerns and hopes for change. 

Lori Griffith MA, RP, CPGC

Lori Griffith MA, RP, CPGC is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Regulated Psychotherapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals.  Lori's professional background includes working in the field of addiction and mental health for the past 20 years.  She works with individuals, families and couples facing a variety of life challenges including depression and anxiety.   She supports individuals to work towards developing healthy coping skills to assist them in achieving their personal goals.    Lori values wellness, growth and connection through using strength-based and solution focused approaches, cognitive-behavioural therapies (CBT), mindfulness and motivation interviewing principles.   

Jennifer Merkley BA Soc. BSW RSW

Jennifer Merkley is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She has worked in the social service sector supporting people within Oxford County for over 20 years. During this time Jennifer‘s experience has included working collaboratively alongside diverse populations including individuals with exceptionalities, children and families in crisis as well as providing clinical mental health counselling services to children, adolescence and their families. 

Jennifer completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Western Ontario in 2003 prior to continuing her studies to obtain her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from the University of Victoria in 2015. 

Jennifer believes in meeting clients where they are at to help navigate their needs and achieve their individualized goals. Her understanding and compassionate engagement with clients provides a welcoming, safe and nonjudgmental space to foster trusting relationships and build a positive rapport.

Jennifer works with clients from a strength-based, solution-focussed approach, incorporating evidence-based modalities, such as CBT and DBT. Her area of focus is supporting children and youth who may be experiencing challenges with anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, self-esteem and emotional dysregulation.

 

Kaitlin Kent RSW, MSW

Kaitlin Kent is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She has worked in the social services field for 10 + years with children and families in communities across Ontario.

Kaitlin completed her Bachelor of Social Work with Honours from King's University College in 2013, then subsequently completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Western Ontario in 2014.

Integral to Kaitlin's social work practice is working from a strength based lens to create a welcoming and non judgemental environment. She believes in meeting clients where they are at and helping them build skills to get where they want to be.

Kaitlin has experience working with children and their families impacted by a variety of mental health challenges through a solution focused, strength based approach incorporating evidenced based interventions such as CBT, Mindfulness and DBT with age appropriate change strategies. Her area of focus is supporting children and youth who may be experiencing challenges with anxiety, stress, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, grief, and challenges with self esteem.

Lynn Wardell, BSW, MSW, RSW 

Lynn Wardell is a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Lynn completed her Bachelor of Social Work from University of Waterloo, Renison College in 2008 and her Master of Social Work from McMaster University in 2011. Lynn is currently completing her Trauma Certificate through Wilfrid Laurier University.

Lynn has over 25 years of experience in the social services and health care fields, having worked the last 18 years in mental health and addictions. Lynn has also worked across various social services systems including child welfare, developmental services, domestic violence, corrections and complex needs. Lynn was previously affiliated with Wilfrid Laurier University, Bachelor of Social Work Program as a Practicum Field Advisor.

Motivated by helping others who are facing challenges in life, Lynn believes everyone is capable of making changes and gaining skills to manage and cope more positively in their day to day lives. Lynn utilizes various therapeutic models and counselling methods including recovery, crisis intervention, trauma informed, Wraparound, cognitive behavioural, harm reduction, behaviour modification, solutions focused and motivational interviewing.

Lynn works with individuals experiencing challenges with depression, anxiety/stress, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, postpartum depression, addictions, ADD/ADHD, work/life balance, life transitions and parenting. Lynn can also help people with achieving mental health and wellness. Lynn takes a learning approach to life, she believes in meeting people where they are at and creating a warm, welcoming safe space for her clients.
